Tech Updates
Had two tech victories over the past couple days.
I signed up for a Canadian DNS service and got an email box attached to this domain. Google seems to be happy with it. I now need to reroute a few things to it to check stability and response times. Eventually, I hope to shut off all of my Google addresses except the one I use for work.
I also figured out how to set group policies in Chromium on a snap version so I can keep my website blocker from getting trivially shut off through the chrome://extensions page. Could I still remove the block? Sure, I have sudo access on here. But it's a multi-step process involving the terminal instead of three clicks now.
I should write about why I run website blockers on a separate post.
